MUMBAI, Aug 15 (www.GoldTradingCalls.com) We hear a lot about sunspot cycle , global warming , sunspot cycles. I thought to go over the data myself and check to see if there is any substance to it. I got Sunspot cycle data for over 200 years and this is the findings as detailed in the above chart. The Sunspot cycle has bottomed out and our inhouse Quant model clearly forecast that the sunspot cycle is upward for many months through 2012.
The solar cycle, or the solar magnetic activity cycle, is the main source of the ~10.8 year periodic solar variation which drives variations in space weather and to some degree weather on the ground and possibly climate change. The cycle is observed by counting the frequency and placement of sunspots visible on the Sun. Below is the 400 Years of Sunspot observations.
