Regions Financial to complete capital raise Monday

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Regions Financial Corp. said late Thursday it plans to complete raising its Tier 1 capital requirements on Monday when it settles a common stock exchange offer. Regions said it will have raised $2.5 billion, including proceeds of $1.77 billion from a common stock offering, $278 million from mandatory convertible preferred stock, and $172 million from other preferred securities
