Copper thefts are on the rise (KMVT Twin Falls)

At this time of year it’s not uncommon for farmers to discover that copper wire has been stolen from their irrigation pivot lines. Investigator Rick Cohen with the Jerome County Sheriff’s Office says yesterday at 300 South 800 East of Jerome, a farmer had discovered several of his pivot lines had copper wire removed from them.
