MUMBAI, Feb 15 (www.GoldTradingCalls.com) The BSE India Sensex, which rose to 16,227 in early trades but declined to around 16,101 subsequently, is currently down with a loss of 17.36 points or 0.11% at 16,135.23.

Despite a strong surge in industrial output in December, equities are seen struggling a bit in early trades on the major Indian bourses this morning due to weak global cues.

The Nifty-50 index of the National Stock Exchange is down 12 points or 0.25% at 4,814.85.

A few stocks from midcap and smallcap segments are up with notable gains on selective buying interest.
